DescriptionEMIT Technologies, Inc. is seeking multiple Industrial Engineers to join our team. In this role you will oversee and optimize primary processing operations within a modern Industry 4.0 manufacturing environment. This role involves implementing advanced technologies, analyzing data, and improving processes to enhance operational efficiency, product quality, and overall productivity.Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize primary processing within the pre-production cycle
- Conduct process analyses to identify inefficiencies, reduce waste, and improve quality across all manufacturing stages.
- Implement and manage smart sensors, IoT devices, and automated systems to enhance real-time monitoring and control of manufacturing processes.
- Integrate robotics and automated systems for welding, coating, assembly, and crating to improve precision, speed, and consistency.
- Analyze data from manufacturing processes to identify trends, predict issues, and provide actionable insights for process improvements.
- Utilize data analytics tools to monitor equipment performance, maintenance needs, and process efficiency.
- Develop and enforce quality control procedures to ensure adherence to standards in welding, coatings, assembly and crating
- Implement real-time monitoring systems to detect defects and ensure product integrity throughout the manufacturing process.
- Lead projects related to the deployment of Industry 4.0 technologies and process improvements, ensuring timely and successful execution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, IT, and production, to achieve project goals and address challenges.
- Develop and implement predictive maintenance programs to minimize equipment downtime and extend operational lifespan.
- Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues related to manufacturing equipment and processes.
- Design and optimize user interfaces for machines and control systems to enhance operator usability and efficiency.
- Conduct training sessions for operators and maintenance personnel on new technologies and best practices.
- Ensure that manufacturing operations comply with relevant safety standards, environmental regulations, and industry best practices.
- Maintain accurate records of process improvements, system configurations, and performance metrics.
- Prepare and present reports on project progress, process performance, and improvement initiatives to management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. ***Would consider someone without a degree if they have relevant experience***
- 1+ years of experience in industrial engineering or a related field, with a focus on one of these practice areas - secondary processing, welding, coatings, assembly, and crating operations.
- Proficiency in Industry 4.0 technologies, including smart sensors, IoT devices, robotics, and automated systems.
- Knowledge of quality control methods and standards for welding, coatings, and assembly.
- Familiarity with ERP and MES systems.
