Apply today!Job DescriptionBettis Laboratory Site (BLS) Operations and Maintenance (O&M) is seeking a highly motivated Industrial Equipment Mechanic to perform maintenance activities at the West Mifflin Laboratory site. Working under the general supervision of an Operations and Maintenance supervisor, lead, direct and perform maintenance on facility vehicles including but not limited to excavators, telehandlers, engines and transmissions, various other equipment, and systems. Responding to trouble calls related to immediate issues to help maintain continuity of operations. Identify and develop improvements to existing facilities or methods of operation. Required Combination of Knowledge and Skill High school or vocational school graduate or the equivalent with the ability to read, write and perform general mathematics of the variety usually learned in a high school or vocational school course.
