This position requires the assembling of many machine parts according to instructions and within a specific time frame, while using the appropriate tools and/or equipment according to safety and quality standards, as well as carrying out any other duties as directed by the Lead man or Supervisor.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSRead, interpret, and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately perform the General Assembly and Wiring portion of the Press Brake Assembly process.Train other employees how to perform Sub Assembly and Ship Prep portion of Press Brake Assembly.Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standardsIdentify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identifiedPerform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures Maintain a clean and safe work area specified time frame.Performed adjustments needed to ensure factory settings and specifications using schematics and/or engineering documentation.Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.May be required to climb using a safety harness or ladder up to 16' feet tall.May be required to work beyond normal business hours when necessary.Supporting company policies and procedures, goals and objectives, ISO policies and good manufacturing practices.Must be able to work unsupervised at times.Must adhere to all safety policies and wear required PPE.Employees are to speak only English during an emergency and while performing job duties where there is potential for an emergency.
