PrideNow is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Supervisor! This is a direct hire, exempt position with our food manufacturing client in Oak Park, WI 53154. The ideal candidate will have a background in food manufacturing. Relocation available to eligible applicants.
Job Overview:
The Industrial Maintenance Supervisor plays a key role in developing the maintenance team's ownership, skills, and execution of Standard Maintenance Practices, the Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS), and Process Control. This position is focused on empowering the team to take accountability for company goals, business performance, continuous improvement, and operational excellence. Additionally, the Supervisor serves as the primary resource, point of contact, and decision-maker for maintenance issues.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, heat and extreme cold, and food allergens. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
An office space: working on a computer, telephone, desk, and chair as needed to complete administrative tasks. Enter and work within temperature-controlled environments of -10 to 85 degrees. Some assignments may involve exposure to noise, chemicals, biohazards, and various forms of radiation. Some assignments could be extremely dangerous in the event of dizziness, loss of consciousness, or loss of balance. Working conditions are normal for a food manufacturing plant. Food safety practices are followed and upheld to the full extent. Work will involve lifting of raw materials, finished cases of bread, and ingredients. All employees will be required to wear a slip resistant safety steel toe shoe.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 70 pounds.
