ResponsibilitiesCompletes process checks on specified quality forms and recordsAssures all assigned equipment safety guarding is in place and all areas of the machine are clean, neat and organizedDocuments required repairs and maintenance tasksMonitors Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) to ensure set standards are achieved or exceededObserves gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure equipment is working properlyInspects equipment, products, materials, or packaging to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defectsRepairs, cleans, lubricates, or adjusts machinery to optimally maintain the equipmentDisassembles, repairs or replaces malfunctioning/broken machinery or equipment componentsReassembles equipment after completion of inspections, testing, or repairExamines parts for defects, such as excessive wear or breakagePerforms changeovers and set-ups to equipment as requiredPlaces or pours WIP components or materials into containers or fills hoppers/feeder bowls from designated GaylordsCleans work areas using basic cleaning materialsPerforms additional duties as assigned QualificationsKnowledge of machines and tools, including their design, use, repair, and maintenanceAbility to operate newly repaired machinery or equipment to verify the adequacy of repairsAbility to analyze failures, machine error messages, or information obtained from operatorsSelf-motivated and capable of identifying and completing tasks with minimal directionAbility to determine causes of operating errors and implementing effective solutionsAbility to quickly move hands, hands together with arms, or two hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects Ability to focus on a single source of sound in the presence of other distracting soundsAbility to communicate in verbal and written EnglishMinimum of 1 year technical experience required, in a manufacturing environment preferredRequires standing, walking, sitting, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, handling, grasping, and feelingRequires eye/hand/foot coordinationRequires the ability to lift up to 40 pounds$20.91 and upReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential job functions Education & ExperienceHigh School Diploma or equivalent required, Associates degree in technical field preferred.
