Industrial Maintenance Technician - Independent Stave Company : Job Details

INDUSTRIAL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIANLocation: Lebanon, KYReports to Maintenance SupervisorWe are currently looking to fill 2 full-time positions.

• 2nd Shift: 1:30 pm - 10:00 pm Monday - Friday (Overtime on Saturday and Sunday as required)
• 3rd Shift: 10:00 pm - 6:30 am Monday - Friday (Overtime on Saturday and Sunday as required)
  • Ability and willingness to work across multiple shifts if needed.

Pay range: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour starting wageJob Description:The industrial maintenance technician is responsible for performing highly diversified duties, such as installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production and facility equipment, using both mechanical and electrical knowledge.Job Duties:

• Perform routine repairs and maintain all equipment (mechanical and electrical) to enhance efficiency and prevent malfunctions that could lead to production downtime and costly repairs.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions (mechanical and electrical) and locate the source of problems by examining equipment
• Assist in line changes and process improvements.
• Clean equipment, lubricate moving parts, change fluids, modify equipment, and replace parts and components as required.
• Maintain records of all maintenance activities.
• Conduct preventive maintenance measures on structures, equipment, electrical, plumbing as well as facilities.
• Control downtime by informing production employees of routine preventive maintenance techniques and monitoring compliance.
• Support and contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results and training production employees on efficient operation and basic routine maintenance procedures
• Maintain a positive work environment by performing and communicating in a manner that promotes good relationships with co-workers, customers, clients, and management.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment, including proper lockout/tagout procedures.

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in industrial maintenance, Mechanical, Electrical, or related trade
• Minimum 3-5 years of manufacturing experience with robotic tuning, PLC troubleshooting, pneumatics, hydraulics, welding, and fabrication required
• Must be reliable and motivated.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Working knowledge of preventive/predictive maintenance techniques

Physical Requirements:

• While performing duties of job, employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands and fingers to handle, or feel objects, and use of computer; reach with hands and arms.
• Use Personal Protective Equipment
• Stand constantly and/or move in and around work areas
• Climb ladders/catwalks/equipment, stoop, bend, and/or crawl
• Work at elevated heights more than 5 feet above floor level
• Work in awkward positions and tight areas
