Central States Marketing & MFG 1320 N. 81 Bypass McPherson, KS 67460 Job Description Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician - Electrical Hours : 8AM - 5PM Direct Reports: Maintenance Manager Primary Job Function: Ensure plastic extrusion equipment and plant facilities are maintained in such a manner that production requirements are met. Responsible for overseeing multiple projects. Maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment. Daily workload consists of a wide array of electrical, mechanical, and general maintenance duties. You must follow all safety regulations. Diligently occupy yourself with the necessary work while on the clock. Recommend equipment and ideas to improve plant operations. Job Duties: 1. Responsible for completion of all maintenance duties as assigned. 2. Perform electrical, mechanical, and general maintenance duties as required. 3. Responsible for managing your workload and keeping unproductive activities to a minimum. 4. Inspect plastic extrusion machinery & equipment daily. 5. Ensure adherence to all company policies. 6. Audit maintenance activities daily. 7. Maintain a high level of housekeeping & safety standards. 8. Available for 24-hour emergency (on call) maintenance as required. Qualifications: 1. Have a strong technical knowledge of pneumatic, mechanical and electrical equipment and components. Ability to weld is a plus. Experience with plastic extrusion is a plus. 2. Have 3-5 years' work experience with electrical ranging from 24v DC to 480v AC. 3. Have experience building, maintaining, and programming PLC's. 4. Have and utilize your ability to prioritize activities and resources. 5. Must be able to work well independently and with others. 6. Have and use your ability to make safe and sound decisions. 7. Have strong communication skills, both written and verbal. 8. Be proficient in basic computer skills. 9. You must live in McPherson, KS or within 30 miles.
