Industrial Maintenance Technician - Night Shift JOB DESCRIPTION: We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to install, repair, and maintain machinery and equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, including motors, conveyors, robotic systems, and hydraulic circuits. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ceramic or tile production, a passion for sustainability, and expertise in troubleshooting, repairing, and programming automated equipment. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiency, ensure safety compliance, and contribute to sustainable practices. Strong technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to quality are essential for success in this role. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Observe mechanical and electrical devices in operation to diagnose malfunctions using sensory methods (sound, temperature, etc.). Install power supply wiring and conduit for new machinery, including robots, conveyors, and programmable controllers. Dismantle equipment to access and replace defective parts; inspect parts for wear, imperfections, and dimensional changes. Repair or replace electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components, ensuring optimal performance through lubrication and cleaning. Program and troubleshoot automated systems, including robots and programmable controllers, to ensure operational efficiency. Use metalworking tools (lathe, drill press, grinder) for part fabrication or repair. Ensure adherence to Florim and OSHA safety standards, complete safety training, and wear required PPE. Collaborate with engineers, quality control, and production teams to improve machine performance and sustainability practices. Apply critical thinking to troubleshoot complex problems and propose innovative solutions. Maintain a physically demanding work environment, including lifting, climbing, and handling materials.
