Industrial Millwright - NIGHT SHIFT - Synerfac : Job Details

Synerfac is seeking an Industrial Millwright to work the night shift for our client in Martinsville, VA. Our client is one of the most trusted producer, manufacturer and distributor of wood products in North America. The Millwright will keep all production machinery and equipment throughout the mill in good working condition.Responsibilities:- Troubleshoot and diagnose problems; repair and replace machinery, parts, equipment, in mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems.- To use a wide variety of hand and power tools as well as assistive devices.- To weld, use cutting torch, and braze.- To read blueprints, schematics, simple drawings, may be essential to make simple drawings.- To fabricate parts, equipment and machinery.- Operate shop equipment including drill presses, grinders, hydraulic presses, band saws/skill saws.- Be able operate forklift, Millwright truck, front-end loader.- To complete work both in the field and in the shop, including disassembly and assembly.- To work to precise tolerances, essential to work in confined areas. Essential to consult technical manuals as well as technicians.- To complete PM sheets, work orders, essential to outline daily activities.Job Requirements- 3+ years of experience working as a Millwright in an industrial setting- needs welding experience- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. - Must be able to meet Physical demands such as: kneeling, crawling, twisting, climbing, reaching, bending, squatting, etc..- Valid Driver's License
