Description

Responsibilities:

  • Strategically support new product developments, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and facilitating timely, cost-effective market launches.
  • Ensure the establishment of world-class manufacturing capabilities, focusing on superior quality and optimal production outcomes.
  • Collaborate with global teams and suppliers to enhance the supply chain, ensuring cultural competence and strategic alignment.
  • Lead and cultivate a high-performing team in Stamford, CT, fostering an innovative and collaborative work culture.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and innovative solutions to optimize processes, leveraging lean methodologies.
  • Expand the current inventory management system to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Develop and implement strategies for purchasing, sourcing, and manufacturing that support the vision of minimizing costs and improving operational efficiency.
  • Commit to sustainability practices and create a culture of social responsibility throughout operations.
  • Travel both domestically and internationally to build relationships and support global coordination efforts.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Profile

Ideal Candidate:

  • At least 8 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a preference for experience in the military and aerospace industries.
  • At least 5 years of experience in managing and supervising a diverse workforce.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with international partners.
  • Capability to travel internationally as needed.
  • Strong understanding of commercial, quality, and technical requirements.
  • Familiarity with Quality Systems and Standards, such as ISO:9000 and/or AS9100.
  • Excellent oral communication skills and organizational abilities.
  • Proficient in the MS Office suite, with advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, graphs, charts).
  • Knowledgeable in various ERP systems and their functionalities.
  • Fluent in English, with Spanish proficiency considered a plus.
