Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Consultant Lead Job Category: ELPROVSERRequisition Number: INFAN001175Posted: August 22, 2024Full-TimeHybridLocations 03 - Kent841 Central Ave NorthSuite C-232Kent, WA 98022, USAPOSITION: Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Consultant LeadBase Salary Range: $62,444.00 - $73,463.00Extended Salary Range: $62,444.00 - $99,175.00FLSA Status: ExemptAGENCY SUMMARY:BrightSpark Early Learning Services has been at the forefront of the early learning landscape for over 30 years ensuring that all children have equitable access to safe, engaging, and positive early learning experiences that promote school readiness and lifetime success.OPPORTUNITY:The role of the BrightSpark Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Lead focuses on promotion, prevention, and intervention strategies, working collaboratively with coaches and early childhood professionals to enhance their capabilities in fostering optimal social and emotional development.RESPONSIBILITIES:Provide virtual and on-site Infant-Early Childhood Mental Health Consultation (IECMHC) services to licensed childcare sites.Provide resources, information, and guidance to build the capacity of regional Early Achievers Coaches.Engage with regional/community/tribal early learning and behavioral health partners.Support reflection and problem-solving to build adults' capacity.Collaboratively develop individualized support plans for children and families.Administer training for early childhood education on various relevant topics.Join site visits with Mental Health Consultants and/or Coaches.Provide resources, materials, information, or referrals for stakeholders.Attend all mandatory meetings with BrightSpark and CCA of WA.Continuously develop and review policies and program information.Participate and speak in the community about the need for early mental health services.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology or related credential.Licensed or WA License-eligible Mental Health Professional.Minimum of 5 years experience in the field, 2 years as a supervisor.Content knowledge in Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health.Knowledge of IECMHC service delivery in Early Childhood settings.DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:2-4 years of supervisory experience.Understanding of change management theory and practice.Master's Degree or Doctorate in relevant fields.5 years of Supervisory Experience of Mental Health Professionals.Advanced training in Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health.Ability to work occasional night and weekend hours.Effective written and verbal communication skills.COMPETENCIES:Mission-driven: Commitment to the mission and values.Equity mindset: Values anti-racism and fosters an inclusive environment.Communication: Skillful written and oral communication.Adaptability: Adapts and responds to change.Ownership and quality of work: Manages own work and ensures successful outcomes.COMPENSATION:Salary Range: $62,444.00 - $73,463.00Extended Salary Range: $62,444.00 - $99,175.00This is a full-time salaried position requiring work during BrightSpark Early Learning Services Business hours, Monday through Friday from 8:30 am-5 pm.HOW TO APPLY:A ResumeA cover letterA brief personal equity statement (not exceeding 300 words).BENEFITS:BrightSpark Early Learning Services' benefits package includes employer-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance plans, 21 days of PTO, and more.EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER:BrightSpark Early Learning Services values diversity among our staff and encourages applications from historically marginalized groups.ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:To learn more about BrightSpark Early Learning Services, please visit BrightSpark.org.This position is contingent on grant funding being in place.#J-18808-Ljbffr
