Lago Vista ISD is looking for a loving and qualified infant caretaker for The Little Vikings Learning Center beginning March 2025. The Little Vikings Learning Center is a childcare facility that provides Lago Vista ISD employees and the community with an affordable and timely childcare option. Our mission is to provide exemplary learning, play, and social opportunities for all children enrolled in the Little Vikings Learning Center. Little Vikings offers a small, supportive work environment, competitive pay, and a comprehensive benefits package to all employees. Qualified applicants must:
  • Be at least 18 years old.
  • Become Child and Baby CPR Certified (Training will be provided to successful candidate if necessary).
  • Be able to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations.
  • Be able to properly lift infants into and out of a crib.
  • Maintain emotional control under stress.
  • Participate in 24 hours of annual paid training.
  • Be able to meet all Texas Health & Human Services requirements for background checks and fingerprinting.
