Job Description ASRC Federal is seeking an Information Assurance Analyst to support an upcoming DHA contract. This work will be located onsite in San Antonio, TX. This position is contingent based on the successful award of contract to ASRC Federal. Responsibilities: Provide analysis and design of IT systems that involve managing an IA security program and enforcing security policies
- Handle test scripts and service requirements
- Works closely with end-users on project development and implementation.
- Perform certification and accreditation (C A) activities
- Specify the inputs to be accessed by the system, design the processing steps, and format the output to meet the users' needs.
- Perform security training activities that include topics such as PII
- Review information security alerts and advisories by maintaining system security and ensuring critically sensitive data is protected.
- Document and respond to any security breaches and identify any vulnerabilities.
- Research and communicate on security issues and enact corrective and preventive measures to maintain a secure IT environment.
- Have expert knowledge of configuration management activities to ensure specifications of hardware and software are within security guidelines.
- Distribute software across the enterprise environment through technologies such as System Center Configuration Manager.
RequirementsREQUIREMENTS
- B.S. in Computer Science or Information Technology degree
- 5+ years of experience in the Information Assurance arena
- Must have a current GSEC, Security+, or SSCP certification to be considered
- Prior experience as an architect on a software development project
- Experience with designing for distributed architecture
- Experience with SCCM technologies including KIXtart and Microsoft Licensing Server
- Experience with implementation architecture
- Experience designing for virtual configurations
- Experience with NIPRnets
- Experience in Agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or ITIL
- Experience distributing software across a large enterprise
- Possess excellent verbal and written communications skills
