The Department for Community Based Services has an opening for an Information OfficerII position. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to use their professional communication andgraphic design skills! The position entails designing, developing, and distributing various publications toagency staff, internal and external partners, and the general public. It will also create content for andmanage the agency's social media presence and perform other journalistic functions.   • Performs professional journalistic functions in the development, implementation, and distribution of informational programs and materials
  • Produces graphic design illustrative materials for brochures, newsletters, programs, etc., for communication with agency staff, partners, and the general public
  • Writes, edits, and proofs reports, news releases, webpages, and other materials for communication with agency staff, partners, and the general public
  • Edits, posts, and writes material for internal web-based newsletter
  • Creates content and manages social media presence
