Job Title: Information Security Engineer

Job Description

The Information Security Engineer will be responsible for customizing, validating, administering, and supporting enterprise-wide information security platforms, systems, frameworks, and applications based on management requirements. The role includes producing implementation plans, assessments, diagrams, and standard operating procedures, as well as validating vulnerabilities and reviewing for false positives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customize and manage enterprise-wide security platforms.
  • Validate vulnerabilities and address false positives effectively.
  • Administer and support security systems and frameworks.
  • Develop implementation plans, system assessments, and architectural diagrams.
  • Create and maintain standard operating procedures for security processes.

Mandatory Qualifications

  • Proven experience with large-scale state Enterprise Architecture systems serving multiple governmental agencies.
  • Experience in Enterprise Architecture environments consisting of diverse components.
  • Familiarity with the integration of various Enterprise Architecture components.
  • General understanding and experience with Enterprise Architecture components or similar technologies, such as Broadcom Identity Manager, Identity Suite, and Single Sign-On, which provide security integration with IAM/SSO and directory services.

Desirable Qualifications

  • A minimum of six (6) years of experience performing similar duties in large-scale Enterprise Architecture environments.
  • Knowledge and experience with the following technologies:
  • Nutanix and Dell hyper-converged computing platforms that consolidate compute, storage, and virtualization.
  • VMware technologies, including ESXi, vCenter, NSX, and SRM.
  • Operating systems such as Microsoft Windows Server and RedHat Enterprise Linux.
  • Database management systems like Microsoft SQL Server 2014.
  • Monitoring and alerting tools, such as Nagios.
  • Application and infrastructure performance monitoring tools, including NewRelic APM, NewRelic Infrastructure, and NewRelic Browser.
  • Continuous deployment tools like Octopus Deploy.
  • DevOps automation tools such as Puppet Enterprise.
  • Analytics and operational intelligence tools like Splunk.
  • Code analysis tools, such as Veracode.
