Job Description :
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain security solutions to protect systems, networks, and data.
- Monitor and respond to security events and incidents to ensure timely remediation.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration tests to identify and mitigate risks.
- Implement and manage firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, and other security infrastructure.
- Perform security log analysis and configure SIEM systems to detect threats.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards.
- Perform patch management and ensure compliance with security best practices.
- Conduct security awareness training for employees to reduce human-related risks.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure configurations of systems and applications.
- Assist with security audits, compliance efforts, and risk assessments.
- Investigate security incidents and provide root cause analysis and recommendations.
- Research emerging security threats and recommend appropriate defenses.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry security standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).
- Document security incidents and maintain incident response playbooks.
Qualifications
- Must have an active TS/SCI + FS Poly Clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security System Engineering, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. 4 years of additional ISE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
- 5+ years' experience as an ISE on programs or contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
- Able to apply knowledge of IA policy, procedures, and workforce structure to design, develop, and implement secure networking, computing, and enclave environments.
- DOD 8570 compliance with IASAE Level 2 is required (must be either CISSP or CASP).
