This information is utilized during the pay equity analysis phase.Summary of Job Duties:In this position, you will provide personal computer installation, training, technical support, diagnostic help, and operating instructions to users of computer systems at OSP offices throughout the state, with a primary physical focus on sites in the Northeast. You will troubleshoot personal computer and network problems. You will also provide proactive computer support by routinely providing on-site support and maintenance and quality assurance to maintain Department software, hardware, network, and configuration standards. You will create technical procedures and instructions for users and peers, provide technical reports, and information to management.The Service Desk hours are 7 am - 6 pm Monday- Friday and 9 am- 5 pm Saturday and Sunday.Minimum Qualifications/Eligibility Requirements:Three (3) years of information systems experience in: Service desk technical support, troubleshooting and maintaining Windows desktop and laptop systems, familiarity with technical support ticketing and asset tracking systems. Must be adept in using Microsoft 365 desktop applications including, Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Knowledgeable in managing IT inventory hardware and software; OR An Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, OR completion of a two (2) year accredited vocational training program in information technology or related field; AND One (1) year of information systems experience in:Service desk technical support, troubleshooting and maintaining Windows desktop and laptop systems, familiarity with technical support ticketing and asset tracking systems. Must be adept in using Microsoft 365 desktop applications including, Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Knowledgeable in managing IT inventory hardware and software. Preferred Skills: Experience with Active Roles, desktop imaging, printer management, and support of peripheral devices.Experienced in IT Customer Service Tier 1-3 troubleshooting and support, direct and virtual.Experience with analyzing, developing, implementing, and coordinating IT tasks and processes.Experience using ticketing and asset tracking systems.Technical and non-technical training and documentation writing experience. Special Qualifications: Must possess a valid Driver's License.Must be LEDS certified or be able to obtain certification upon hire.
