We are looking for a skilled and motivated IT Generalist to join our dynamic team and help drive our mission of excellence.Job Overview:We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated IT Generalist to provide IT support and solutions to our diverse client base. As an integral part of our team, you will work across a variety of technologies, from networking and hardware to cloud services and end-user support. The ideal candidate is a problem solver, able to work independently and as part of a team to ensure the smooth running of IT environments for our clients.Key Responsibilities:• Provide day-to-day technical support for both on-site and remote clients, including troubleshooting, system administration, and IT operations management.• Maintain, monitor, and update client systems, networks, and software to ensure optimal performance and security.• Assist in the configuration, deployment, and management of servers, workstations, and other IT equipment.• Manage and support cloud-based services such as Microsoft 365, Azure, and Google Workspace.• Perform network administration duties, including configuring firewalls, switches, routers, and VPNs.• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues, escalating complex issues to higher-level engineers when necessary.• Perform regular backups and disaster recovery tasks to ensure data integrity and business continuity.• Manage client IT projects, ensuring timely and efficient execution from inception to completion.• Provide technical guidance and training to end-users on various systems and software applications.• Maintain accurate documentation of client systems, configurations, and support requests.• Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in IT technologies.Qualifications:• Required:o 2+ years of experience in an IT support role, preferably in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) or similar environment.o Strong knowledge of network configurations, server administration, and cloud platforms (Azure, Microsoft 365, etc.).o Experience with Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.o Familiarity with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and other common IT infrastructure services.o Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.o Strong communication and customer service skills.o Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.o Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (if travel to client sites is required).• Preferred:o Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA), or similar.o Experience with security tools and protocols (e.g., firewalls, antivirus, encryption).o Familiarity with virtualized environments (VMware, Hyper-V).o Experience with RMM (Remote Monitoring and Management) and ticketing systems (e.g., ConnectWise, Ninja, HaloPSA).
