Job Details:

JOB TITLE: IT Project Manager

CONTRACT DURATION: 12 weeks to possible perm role

SHIFT: M-F 8-5pm

LOCATION: Onsite Kellogg, ID *MUST BE NEAR LOCATION*

ONBOARDING TIME: Expect 2-3 weeks from offer acceptance to start date.

PAY: $37-39hr

DETAILS ABOUT THE POSITION

Job Requirements:

  • Project Management: Oversee daily project activities, including scheduling, personnel management, and timecard approvals. Will need to step in and assist team members when necessary to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Data Archiving: Primary responsibility will be managing the data archiving of legacy systems, with a focus on completing the project by the end of the year (EOY).
  • Technical Skills: Must have a strong background in web technologies, network infrastructure, PC infrastructure, and VMware. These skills are critical for supporting the project and team operations.
  • Preferred Experience: Healthcare experience is highly preferred, with expertise in CERNER Plus being a significant plus.

  • An IT Infrastructure Manager is responsible for the planning, organization, and execution of all IT functions. They ensure that the interconnected parts of an IT infrastructure operate smoothly, efficiently, and securely. Their responsibilities include:
  • Planning: Developing short- and long-term plans for network, desktop, and telecommunications activities
  • Coordinating: Coordinating the procurement, installation, implementation, testing, and maintenance of infrastructure hardware and software
  • Managing: Managing and coordinating IT infrastructure projects
  • Monitoring: Overseeing the monitoring of systems to ensure the highest level of performance
  • Supporting: Supporting and maintaining existing applications
  • Developing: Developing new technology architectures
  • Negotiating: Negotiating access agreements
  • Establishing: Establishing service level agreements (SLAs)
  • Ensuring: Ensuring contracts are in place to support the services provided by the infrastructure team

IT Infrastructure Managers should have strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage through organizational change. They should also be proficient with tools such as network monitoring tools, server management software, cloud platforms, virtualization software, security tools, and data backup and recovery tools.

Copy of diploma for highest level of completed education.

Two manager/supervisor references who you have worked with in the last two years.
