IT Support / Security Manager needed for a PERMANENT Full-Time position with the successful Financial Services Software division of a large Financial Services company working hybrid 3 days on site in Raleigh and 2 days remote from home.

- Software License Management and Renewals
Overview:
The IT Support / Security Manager in Raleigh, supports internal staff while also working Tech Ops and other staff to build and support production and non-production environments. This is an agile, highly professional team that collaborates across the entire company to deliver crucial new features for the next generation of software. This in-office position requires hands-on experience, a capability to learn quickly and an ability to improvise and thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment that requires strong multitasking and communication skills. The IT Support / Security Manager will have a broad range of responsibilities from supporting internal devices, managing our security solutions, access control, servers, and software to assisting with the setup and deployment of our hosted environments. The right candidate will have a passion for providing outstanding support to our internal staff.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain IT “In person” presence in the Raleigh NC corporate office.
- Manage the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade, and support of all IT systems for voice and data, including PCs, internal corporate server environment, operating systems, hardware, software, and peripherals.
- Oversee provision of end-user services, including help desk and technical support services.
- Establish and maintain regular written and in-person communications with the organization's executives, department heads, and end users regarding pertinent IT activities.
- Work with stakeholders to define business and systems requirements for new technology implementations.
- Direct research on potential technology solutions in support of procurement efforts.
- Keep current with the latest technologies.
- Approve and oversee projects and project portfolio.
- Manage design and implementation of corporate office builds.
- Practice asset management for IT hardware, software, and equipment.
- Manage IT team, including recruitment, supervision, scheduling, development, evaluation, and disciplinary actions.
- Manage corporate office Physical Access security and monitoring for general and sensitive areas
