Job Title: IT Support Associate

Location: Watertown, New York

Details: Contract with ongoing need, Contract to hire opportunity, 3 days 8am-5pm EST, 2 days 10am-7pm EST

Pay Rate: $28.00/hr.

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated IT Support Associate to join our team. This role involves managing new hires, addressing technical issues onsite, and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will be forward-facing, interacting with clients and assisting with chat support and training. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with associates within the company.

Responsibilities:

Manage new hires and address any technical issues onsite, including printers.

Provide customer service and client interaction for chat support and training aspects.

Work with associates within the company and handle walk-ups for hardware replacement and software troubleshooting.

Utilize the Easy Vista ticketing system to manage a ticket volume of 50-60 tickets at the top end.

Support 70 locations and manage vendor relationships, particularly for peripheral devices and printers.

Demonstrate strong communication and leadership skills to foster a tightly knit team culture.

Maintain phone etiquette and provide chat support.

Years of Experience and Education:

1-3 years of related IT experience.

Degree is not required, but relevant experience is highly valued.

Relevant certifications are a plus.

Skills Required:

Comfortable with hardware troubleshooting and training on laptops.

Familiar with networking requirements.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

Experience with chat support and ticketing systems.

Vendor management and troubleshooting skills, especially with printers.

Soft skills for communication and leadership are essential.

Additional Information:

This is a temp-to-hire position with the opportunity for conversion to a full-time role after 3-6 months.

Minimal travel, less than 5%.
