Primary Responsibilities:
Maintain and operate video teleconference (VTC) equipment for training activities, planning activities, and conference support at the Chemical Demilitarization Training Facility (CDTF) campus. The VTC capability includes overhead projectors, web cameras, microphones, teams, and peripherals used for conferences in various training rooms and meeting rooms. VTC support requirements vary by day, week, and month depending upon meeting room usage and user communication needs.
Secondary responsibilities:
Local information technology (IT) setup and configuration of assembly rooms and classrooms, interfacing with Corporate IT and implementing software and hardware updates for GP and subcontractor personnel and providing limited customer IT support by interfacing with Government groups/agencies to facilitate Government IT and phone support as requested.
Support the physical configuration and setup of assembly rooms, conference rooms and training classrooms in support of Government approved events.
SUMMARY: Analyses user requirements, procedures, and problems to improve existing network system.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Coordinates with event POCs and attendees to identify and configure audiovisual equipment in support of scheduled events.
- Monitors event schedules, prioritizes events support, and updates event planning documents ensuring customer support and satisfaction.
- Completes the setup and configuration of local hardware and software.
- Provides technical support and problem-solving services to internal and external customers or employees for products and/or applications both on-site and remotely.
- Supports GP Strategies Microsoft 365 Government Community Cloud High (GCC High) network and government Defense Research and Engineering Network (DREN) requests as directed.
- Analyses existing technical systems including software, network, or databases to create procedures for ensuring the timely completion of daily cycles.
- Anticipates and resolves systems errors.
- Assists in documenting current network systems.
- Maintains system software configuration management.
- Maintains network infrastructure wiring and performs maintenance and upgrades.
- Interfaces with Enterprise software packages.
- Works with the hiring manager to ensure that the product meets customer needs, quality standards, budget, and timeline.
MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
HS Diploma or equivalent and 2 yrs relevant experience in Computer Science or Management Information Systems
