WHAT'S THE ROLE?
We are seeking a skilled Network and IT Systems Administrator to manage and enhance our organization's IT infrastructure with expertise, precision, and a commitment to excellence. The successful candidate will possess extensive experience in the full lifecycle of IT infrastructure management, from strategic planning and design through configuration, deployment, maintenance, and continuous optimization.
This role encompasses the proactive management and maintenance of network infrastructure, servers, and workstations to ensure seamless daily operations. The selected candidate will also be instrumental in providing responsive end-user support and collaborating with cross-functional teams to uphold and advance compliance with stringent cybersecurity and regulatory standards, including NIST and CIP frameworks. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to make a substantial impact by reinforcing our infrastructure's security, scalability, and reliability in alignment with best practices and industry benchmarks.
YOUR PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage and maintain the company's network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Manage and maintain the company's computer infrastructure, including servers, VMWare and other virtual environments, user computers, printers etc.
- Provide technical support to end-users (Windows, Mac, Linux), including troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
- Manage cybersecurity measures to protect the company's systems and data, including antivirus software, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Monitor network performance and security, identifying and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Manage Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Teams.
- Collaborate with other IT team members and departments to implement new technologies and improve existing systems.
- Support IT policies and procedures to ensure system reliability and security.
- Provision devices and prepare for new employee onboarding.
- Plans, schedules, tests, and coordinates system software upgrades.
- Document system configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Supports the Configuration Control Board, performing security impact analysis and approvals for configuration changes.
- Supports the Computer Incident Response Team (CIRT).
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree and 3–5-year experience in Management Information Systems, Computer Science or Information Technology related field required. An equivalent combination of education, certifications and experience may be considered.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, and Active Directory.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
- Experience with Microsoft 365 administration, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Teams.
- Experience with backup and recovery solutions.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols both local and virtual.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Microsoft 365 Certified: Security Administrator Associate) are a plus.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills and demonstrated skills in planning, organizing, and scheduling.

- MS-102 Microsoft 365 Administrator
- CompTIA Server+ or A+ certifications or Linux+
- Linux+ System Administrator Certification
