Windows Server Support: - Install, configure, and maintain Windows server operating systems. - Monitor server performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system reliability. - Implement security measures and regularly update server software and applications. - Collaborate with the IT team to design and implement server infrastructure improvements.
Network Storage Arrays Management: - Administer and optimize network storage arrays to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval. - Implement backup and disaster recovery plans for network storage systems. - Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to storage capacity, performance, and data integrity. - Stay current with industry trends and technologies related to network storage solutions.
Networking: - Configure and maintain network devices, including routers, switches, and firewalls. - Collaborate with the network team to design and implement network infrastructure enhancements. - Monitor network performance, analyze data traffic, and implement improvements as needed. - Ensure network security through regular audits and updates.
Scripting and Automation: - Develop and maintain scripts for automating routine tasks and system management. - Streamline processes through automation to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
Documentation and Reporting: - Maintain comprehensive documentation for server configurations, network storage setups, and network infrastructure. - Generate regular reports on system and network performance, highlighting areas for improvement. - Other duties as assigned/necessary.
