Join our rapidly growing organization serving over 50,000 patients annually and unlock new frontiers in healing and hope.In this role, you will:Float between NYCBS locations as needed.Follow all NYCBS policies and procedures.Update and maintain electronic patient records; assist in transitioning records to digital format.Record patient information such as vital signs and changes in medical history.Prepare examination rooms for patient appointments.Assist in maintaining medical inventory and ordering new materials as needed.Provide patient education on medications and disease management.Give injections and immunizations.Assist physician during examinations and perform EKGs, phlebotomy, and lab tests.We require:Current NYS LPN license required.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.Experience in a lead role or potential to act in a lead capacity.Proficiency in OncoEMR (preferred)Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Prolonged periods of standing, bending and reaching.Frequent exposure to chemicals, bloodborne pathogens, and patient bodily fluids.Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.Willingness to travel to NYCBS locations.What we offer:Salary: Up to $46 per hour based on experienceBenefits: Tuition reimbursement, Health Insurance on day 1, Dental, Vision, LifeInsurance, Short- and Long-term disability, 401k Plan, generous PTO, 8 paid holidays (2 floating)Join us at NYCBS, where we are making strides in healthcare through innovative and compassionate care.Visit our website at: Nycancer.comFollow us on Facebook: NYCBS on Facebook*New York Cancer and Blood Specialists is an Equal Opportunity Employer.*
