C-P Flexible Packaging is now hiring 3rd shift Ink Technican Sunday to Thursday, 10:45pm to 6:45am Starting at $17/hour WHAT YOU GET:

Job Summary: The ink technician will report directly to the lead ink technician. They will be responsible for following all policies and procedures set forth by the company, supervisors and the lead ink technician. Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the necessary ink inventory to keep the presses running.
  • Accurate color matching.
  • Follow all policies, procedures set forth by the company, supervisors or the lead ink technician.
  • Maintain housekeeping of all assigned areas.
  • Work in a team environment with good communication skills between shifts and the lead ink technician.
  • Must follow all safety rules and regulations set forth by the company.
  • Ability to operate the solvent recovery system.
  • Must earn & maintain a valid tow motor license.
  • Communicate with other shifts and supervisory personnel.
  • Complete tasks in adequate time limits, as to meet daily goal and schedule needs.
  • Complies with all general Company-wide standard operating procedures (SOP's) and any job or department specific SOP's.
    • SOP's may cover the areas of (but are not limited to)
      • Employee Health and Safety
      • SQF (Safe Quality Food packager) and GMP (good manufacturing procedures) focused on eliminating contaminates in all packaging manufactured.
      • SGP (Sustainable Green Printer) environmental regulatory procedures and SOP's
  • Must work within productivity standards and completes work in a timely manner.
  • Special Projects & other duties as necessary
Qualifications:
  • Mechanical skills.
  • Problem solving.
  • Ability to follow and carry out instructions.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills; keyboard, mouse for data entry.
  • Valid tow motor license.
Other knowledge, skills and abilities:
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to maintain confidentiality of information to Company and Federal standards.
  • Must be able to adapt to changes in the work environment, manage competing demands and be able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events.
  • Must be dependable and work within Company conduct standards; consistently at work and on time, follows instructions, responds to management direction and solicits feedback to improve performance.
  • Must be able to lead a team
Physical Demands:
  • Strong visual acuity
  • Strong color vision acuity
  • Ability to lift 80 lbs (occasional)
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs (consistently)
  • Able to work a mandated 12 hr shift when conditions warrant. (intermittently)
  • Ability to climb a ladder (intermittently)
  • Bending and lifting up to 70% of a shift.
  • Ability to work on concrete floors for the mandated hours. (continually)
