Job Summary:The Inpatient Surgical Unit RN is responsible for providing high-quality care to surgical patients. This role involves critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills. You will be part of a phenomenal team that works hard to support each other while providing excellent care to our patients.Salary Range:$30.69 per hour (2 years of experience)$33.71 per hour (5 years of experience)Up to $43.20 per hour (17+ years of experience)Shift Differentials:$4.25 for nights$3.00 for weekendsSign-On Bonus: $20,000Relocation Assistance: Case-by-case basisBenefits:

Requirements:
  • 1 year of acute care RN experience (open to LTAC RN experience)
  • Florida RN license or appropriate compact licensure (active FL RN license required within 90 days of hire if holding a compact license)
  • Current BLS certification
  • Graduation from an accredited school of Nursing
  • Nursing experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred
Shift: Nights (Rotating Weekends)Unit Beds: 45-bed surgical unit within the med-surg unitResponsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to surgical patients
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
  • Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in patient condition
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Educate patients and their families about post-operative care and recovery
