YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The primary responsibilities of this role are to:

* Identify and compare different transfection methods for insect cells;

* Optimize and standardize transfection methods;

* Verify the protocols by various cell biology stains and quantitative analysis;

* Self-motivated to communicate and seek solutions for any challenges;

* Present the progress and results with the team;

* Document protocols in detail for all workflows and ensure knowledge transfer to CSI team members;

* Comply with all safety, stewardship, andIT/information security policies and regulations.

WHO YOU ARE

Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:

Required Qualifications:

* Must be registered and currently enrolled in a graduate program - PhD or MS - Pursuing a degree in related areas;

* Prior experience with insect and/or cell-based assays;

* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
