Job Title: Field Project Manager
Position OverviewThe Field Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of flooring installation projects at job sites. This role ensures projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while maintaining safety and fostering strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Oversight: Manage daily operations on job sites, including supervising installation crews, ensuring project specifications are met, and resolving on-site challenges.
- Scheduling and Coordination: Develop and manage project schedules, coordinate with general contractors, suppliers, and team members to ensure seamless execution.
- Quality Control: Inspect work for compliance with company standards, client specifications, and industry best practices.
- Client Interaction: Serve as the primary on-site contact for clients and general contractors, addressing concerns and providing updates.
- Resource Management: Ensure proper allocation of labor, materials, and equipment for efficient project completion.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and ensure job sites meet OSHA standards and company safety policies.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of project progress, site conditions, and communications. Provide regular reports to management.
- Problem Solving: Anticipate and address potential issues to minimize delays and ensure project success.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in flooring installation, construction, or a related field.
- Experience managing crews or subcontractors on job sites.
- Strong knowledge of flooring materials, installation techniques, and industry standards.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to changing conditions.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software is a plus.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel between job sites as needed.
