Position Summary : The Inside Sales Engineer is responsible for assisting the Field Sales organization in assigned regions by meeting the needs of current and future Lenze customers. This person will provide guidance to the sales team by assisting with their questions and customer needs. Position Title : Inside Sales Engineer Location : Local to Cincinnati, OH (Remote/Office with plan to move permanent into office in the next two years.) Potential Earnings : $75,000-$90,000 +25% SIP Plan (Dependent on experience) Key Responsibilities Include :
- Partner with field sales, repair, and other internal groups to service customers
- Provide guidance to the Sales team and be the main point of contact to questions and concerns
- Manage heightened situations for themselves and the team
- Prepare quotes using various resources (BOM's, Visio diagrams, etc.)
- Facilitate internal pricing support in CRM
- Maintain customer data in CRM
- Update vendor metrics and forecasts
- Maintain data on price deviations
- Coordinate safety stock levels with Operations and customers
- Provide updates to appropriate internal teams in preparation for customer meetings
- Participate in planning/sales sessions with the global focus group leads to discuss the sales funnel, issues and North America needs.
- Serve as the main point of contact with client during the execution of projects and programs. Prepare project progress reports and routinely communicates with clients on the status of projects.

- Quotations
- Pricing/Price Negotiation Support
- Bill of Material preparation
- Repair documentation
- Return documentation
- CRM data entry for responsible accounts
- Vendor scorecard and forecast
- Maintain price deviation
- Forecast and safety stock levels
- Spare parts quotation
- Customer call preparation
Requirements Qualifications Include :
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical or Mechatronics) preferred or comparable work experience
- Microsoft Office
- Preferred: CRM Tools, SAP
- At least 3 years of Industrial Automation customer facing experience
- Successful customer interface both on the phone and in person
