Rent's Senior Manager of Inside Sales leads and manages a regional team of quota-carrying Regional Inside Sales Representatives and Business Development Representatives (aka BDRs). This role focuses on driving revenue growth through effective inbound lead acquisition, high-volume outreach, and process optimization. The ideal candidate will be a skilled multitasker with administrative abilities and extensive experience in inside sales management, particularly within a high-paced subscription business model and working with remote teams. Key Responsibilities: Team Leadership: Oversee a team of Inside Sales Representatives and BDRs, provide coaching mentorship, and align to sales objectives and professional development opportunities. Set clear performance expectations and conduct regular evaluations. Provides daily coaching and feedback to ensure the team's selling and retaining new and current clients Sales Strategy and Execution: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed regional inside sales, inbound, and lead targets. Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify new sales opportunities within the multifamily and rental sector. Collaborate with field leadership, marketing, and product teams to align sales initiatives with overall business goals. Process Improvement and Implementation: Evaluate and enhance existing sales processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Implement best practices for inbound lead management, ensuring timely follow-up and conversion. Utilize sales tools to track sales activities, monitor performance metrics, and generate actionable insights and review phone and video calls Lead Management and Development: Oversee the BDR team's management of Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs), ensuring proper conversion and handoff to sales representatives. Support lead development and research initiatives to bolster sales efforts and expand the customer base and retention Maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders to drive customer satisfaction and retention. Minimum Qualifications & Experience: 3+ years of experience in a senior inside sales management role, overseeing large teams of remote inside sales representatives and BDRs. Experience in inbound and outbound lead acquisition, high-volume outreach, and process improvement. Experience in the multifamily and rental market and sales dynamics within this sector is a plus but not needed Experience with sales training, implementation, and development programs. Experience with CRM software, call and video analyzing, and feedback and sales analytics tools. Experience in forecasting, sales process, and pipeline management Working knowledge and current experience with MEDDIC, Spin, or similar sales methodology. Preferred Qualifications & Experience: A bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field is preferred, but it is not necessary. Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
