This position is responsible for supporting multiple salespeople in the service group. The Cannistraro Service Group helps building owners and facility managers reduce operating costs and keep their critical building systems running smoothly by providing preventative maintenance programs, 24-hour emergency service and turnkey, energy efficient retrofits for mechanical and fire protection systemsIn this role, you will:
- Qualify leads and opportunities with the customer, technician, and/or Account Manager
- Create and send proposals to customers in support of account manager
- Visit technicians on jobs to gain a better understanding of site layout and equipment as well as service processes
- Repair or replacement proposals
- Review fire protection test and inspection reports and submit to customers
- Quote Letters
- Purchase and Delivery Schedule
- Welding permit application assistance
- Gather documentation for work order booking/scheduling
- Budget sheets
- Warehouse coordination for pick up/delivery
- Coordinate Repairs
- Maintenance Agreement Proposals
- Manage unassigned accounts as opportunities arise including proposals and tech support unless project size dictates transition to an outside account manager
- Assist Account Managers in building customer relationships
- Generate Service estimates including the procurement of vendor/subcontractor materials and services costs
A successful candidate will have:
- Associates degree, business school certificate, or equivalent relevant experience
- Demonstrated organizational skills with attention to detail
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of NFPA 25 The standard for Inspection, Testing, and Maintenance of Water-Based Fire Protection Systems
- Ability to interact with Service Technicians, Subcontractors and Vendors
- Demonstrated computer skills including:
- Technical knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook (E-Mail and Calendar).
- Ability to learn applications used for preparing necessary documents.
- Experience with database programs preferred.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize work in a fast paced environment .
- Demonstrated time management skills
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to review fire protection testing and inspection reports preferred.
