Bring your knowledge & passion to healthcare with SOPHiA GENETICS as our new Inside Sales Representative for our Alamut portfolio of products across North America.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with energy and passion to make their first healthcare move, or for someone with industry exposure to continue making a positive impact.

Our Mission

We believe there is a smarter, more data-driven way to make decisions in healthcare and our cloud-native AI powered SOPHiA DDM Platform makes that vision a reality on a daily basis. You will have direct input to our mission to democratize data-driven medicine for the ultimate benefit of cancer and rare disease patients across the globe.

Your mission

Reporting into the Sales Development Manager, you will play a crucial role in the sales process by prospecting, qualifying, and generating opportunities to support the overall growth of the business.

What you'll achieve

  • Generate new sales opportunities through inbound management and outbound outreach (calls, email, use of Salesforce CRM and other enablement software)
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market and identify the needs of prospects, and suggest appropriate products or services
  • Manage renewals and up-sell opportunities within our Alamut portfolio of products
  • Developing sales outreach strategies to draw in potential buyers or to solicit new potential customers.
  • Creating relationships with customers to identify their potential needs and qualify their interests and viability to drive sales.
  • Presenting product information to customers once you have identified their needs.

All experience is valid, but to be best set for success we see you bringing:

  • 1-3 years experience within an inside sales or volume sales environment, ideally with technical, scientific or software product

OR

  • Technical knowledge of Bioinformatics, Diagnostic sequencing or Genomics and an active interest to move into a commercial/sales role
  • You'll need to be fluent in English, and any other languages are highly beneficial.
  • You'll be an excellent communicator, comfortable engaging with new individuals, listening to needs and quickly build relationships.
  • Organization is key, and you will be able to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast and methodical manner.
  • Previous exposure to CRM or Business Software (I.e. HubSpot, Salesforce, ZoomInfo) is really useful, but as long as you bring computer literacy (Outlook, Word etc) everything is coachable.

You will be joining an organization with the patient at the heart of every decision and action, driven by purpose.

  • A Competitive commission structure during a time of exponential growth
  • An organization that drives your learning, growth and development
  • A flexible, friendly and international working environment with a collaborative atmosphere
  • An exciting company mission that brings together science and technology to directly impact the lives of patients with life-threatening illness.
  • A fast-growing space with plenty of opportunity for personal growth and development
