Position Summary

The Inside Sales Representative – Valve Division is responsible for driving sales growth by managing and expanding relationships with existing customers while identifying and developing new business opportunities within the valve market. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of valve products, applications, and industry trends, coupled with strong sales skills and customer-focused service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Generation:
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails.
  • Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of potential customers in the valve industry.
  • Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and quotas.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with existing customers.
  • Understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions using [Your Company Name]'s valve products.
  • Address and resolve customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and effectively.
  • Product Knowledge:
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of valve products, their applications, and industry trends.

  • Sales Process Management:

  • Sales Reporting:

  • Continuous Improvement:
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance sales skills and product knowledge.
  • Provide feedback to management on market trends, customer needs, and competitive activities.

Qualifications

  • Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 3 years of inside sales experience in the valve industry or a related field.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of valve products, applications, and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to understand and articulate technical product information.
