The Inside Sales Representative handles interactions between the customer and Depatie Fluid Power at the time of sale, and thereafter. Work with outside sales and other members of the team to grow existing customers, create new customers and increase to profitability while creating a positive customer experience. - Generate new and repeat sales by providing timely product and technical information.
- Perform accurate customer order entry, quotations (price, delivery, and terms), stock checks, order changes and expedites, return authorizations.
- Resolve customer questions of product identification, recommendations, and application.
- Correspond with Suppliers on cost and delivery requests, purchase order placement, order changes and expedites, return authorizations and identifying new supply sources.
- Build relationships with outside sales staff to deliver the best possible service to our customers.
- Primary inside sales responsibility for assigned customer accounts requiring special attention.
- Work closely with outside sales representative to provide best possible service to these accounts, including inventory analysis and on time delivery.
- Develop a strong working relationship with the customer/supplier contacts.
- Make recommendations to improve customer satisfaction
- Product Specialist assignments may require demonstrated technical competency on assigned products.
- Other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school degree or equivalent
- Technical Certification, College Degree in related field preferred, or Equivalent Experience
- Previous experience with computer based business systems preferred
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manager time effectively
