Shift: Day shift & Night Shift (Mon - Fri) Duration: 6 Months (Possible extension) Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality control systems, standards, and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating company products.
- Ensure finished products conform to government and company standards and meet Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) regulations.
- Conduct routine and non-routine analysis of raw materials, in-process items, and finished products following established operating procedures.
- Calibrate and maintain laboratory and analytical equipment.
- Document test procedures, including stability program testing and formulation studies, ensuring compliance with specifications.
- Prepare investigations, summaries, and reports of abnormalities.
- Recommend corrective actions to ensure conformity with quality specifications.
- Develop and update testing and analysis methods, revising standard operating procedures (SOPs) as needed.
- Provide technical support to quality assurance and quality engineering teams by inspecting products, materials, components, and parts at various production stages.
Job Examples:
- Read and interpret complex blueprints and specifications, including customer and vendor specifications.
- Determine unstated or hidden dimensions from blueprints using fractions, decimals, and trigonometry.
- Utilize mechanical and electrical measuring tools such as magnifiers, calipers, micrometers, snap gauges, and special fixtures.
- Verify calibration of tools against established standards.
- Develop and assess alternative methods to achieve uniform quality, identifying process variables.
- Perform critical first-piece inspections and authorize production commencement.
- Sort materials and mark defects for repair as needed.
- Conduct inspections requiring close tolerance measurements with sensitive touch or judgment.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Basic job skills and knowledge, typically acquired with 1+ years of relevant work experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training is a plus.
- Proficiency in following established procedures, policies, and processes.
- Experience with mechanical and electrical measurement tools and interpreting blueprints.
