Job Description

• SEA Inspection, drifting using a micrometer and depth measurement of imperfections using a depth gauge or wall thickness gauge, thread gauging, penetrant testing and hardness testing.
• Under direct supervision operate applicable inspection equipment of assigned unit.
• Comply with all NOV Company and HSE procedures and policies.
• Maintain cleanliness of work station and surrounding areas.
• Any and all other duties as directed by Supervisor.

Qualifications/Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Knowledge of drill pipe inspection and pipe handling is required.
• Prior inspection experience is required.
• BIT and MAG II Certification is required.
• Successful completion of Level II PT and/or UT Certification and/or EMI Certification classes, required.
• Ability to work with others on an inspection line.
• Must possess self-initiative and have proven strong leadership skills.
• Ability to make decisions independently.
• Basic Math Skills (Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, Division) is required.
• Ability to work Monday-Sunday is required
• Inspector with Level 2 certifications in MFLT, MT, PT, EMI, UT Thickness, BHA, and Drill Pipe. UT Shear Wave certification a plus.
