Our client, Medical device manufacturing industry is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to join their team.

Job Title: Quality Control Inspector

Location: Princeton , NJ

Pay Range: $28 - $30 /hr on w2

Overview:Under the direction of department management, the Quality Technician will play a critical role in maintaining quality standards within Quality Assurance and Operations. This position focuses on inspecting incoming raw and finished materials, particularly PCBA and solder inspections, where IPC-610 certification is a plus. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, familiar with Good Documentation Practice (GDP), and has experience in an FDA-regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct incoming quality inspections of raw materials, components, and finished goods to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Inspect electrical components and perform PCBA and solder inspections; prior IPC-610 certification is a plus.
  • Document equipment incidents, including calibration and maintenance records, ensuring data accuracy.
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams responsible for the technical evaluation of parts and products.
  • Track and manage non-conforming parts/issues and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
  • Maintain documentation and operational guides to support quality processes and adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Perform some filing and organizational tasks as needed for record-keeping and compliance.
  • Ensure compliance with GDP (Good Documentation Practice) and FDA regulations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in quality assurance or related fields within an FDA-regulated environment.
  • Experience with PCBA, solder inspection, and IPC-610 certification preferred.
  • Proficiency in documentation practices and familiarity with CAPA.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of Good Documentation Practice (GDP) and other relevant quality standards.

Interview Process:Initial interview on Teams, followed by an onsite interview for selected candidates.
