Our client is an industry leading, front service technology solutions company, and they are looking for a customer service-oriented tech-savvy support and installation technician in the Texas (anywhere), Denver, Phoenix, Lake Tahoe, Chicago, or Atlanta areas. You must live within 2 hours of an airport.This company specializes in valet parking management systems (computerized valet parking systems) The technicians are responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting and upgrading computer hardware, software, networks, peripheral equipment and mobile devices; assesses user training needs and trains users in effective use of applications; makes recommendations regarding hardware and software; prepares documentation and provides user assistance to customers. Job duties: - Installs, assembles, and configures computers, monitors, network infrastructure and peripherals such as printers, mobile devices, IP cameras, scanners and related hardware- Troubleshoots problems with computer systems, including troubleshooting hardware and software- Strong communication skills via phone, email, and most importantly in person- Must work well with colleagues and team members but also excel when working alone- Have the ability to collaborate with sub-contractors, end users and project managers, with the focus on exceeding customer expectations- Strong server network experience, set-up, hosting, virtualization- Understand SQL database setup and configuration system installation and support background - Ability to work remotely when required but also work at customer locations both indoors and outdoors as needed- Must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel to perform training end users at customer locations via flight, car, or train- Must have a good understanding of Windows OS- Must have a basic understanding of electrical wiring - Ability to work volunteer remote shifts at night and weekends, hospitality or parking experience a plusBase salary, full benefits, (medical, life, vision, dental, a 401k) laptop, iPad, and cell phone.
