The Installer & Service Engineer role HYBRID and will be based out of Des Moine, IA area

You will not report into an office but will be required to travel.

A company car or car allowance, phone, iPad will be provided.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Our team is growing! The Installer & Service Engineer is responsible will be responsible for the installation, calibration, and rigging of Imaging Equipment in medical facilities. This role requires technical expertise, dedication to quality and precision, and a commitment to ensuring the safe and efficient operation of advanced medical imaging equipment for our highest profile customers

Our Service Engineers:

Install Imaging equipment according to manufacturer specifications and facility requirements.

Ensure proper alignment, configuration, and functionality of all components.

Collaborate with facility staff to plan and execute installations with minimal disruption to operations.

Always exude professionalism

Perform initial calibration and testing of equipment to ensure accurate and reliable imaging and compliance with OEM spec.

Conduct thorough performance checks and make necessary adjustments.

Verify compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Provide routine maintenance and repairs to ensure optimal performance and longevity of equipment.

Diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly.

Coordinate with technical support teams and manufacturers for complex repairs and upgrades.

Maintain detailed records of installations, calibrations, maintenance activities, and repairs.

Generate comprehensive reports for clients and management.

Ensure all documentation complies with regulatory and company standards.

Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines during installation and maintenance activities.

Ensure installations comply with local, state, and federal regulations and the company QMS.

Stay updated on industry standards and advancements in imaging technology.

Travel as needed within the United States to assist with clients and installations.

Other duties as assigned.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Installation Managers work in dynamic environments, often requiring frequent travel to client sites for on-site support and maintenance. They must be adaptable to flexible schedules, including evenings and weekends, and may face physical demands when inspecting equipment or troubleshooting technical issues. The job involves a combination of technical expertise, effective communication skills, and the ability to problem-solve in high-pressure situations, ensuring efficient resolution of issues and customer satisfaction.

Your background should also include:

Associate or bachelors degree in biomedical engineering, electrical engineering, or related field preferred.

Certification in medical equipment installation & maintenance a plus.

Strong understanding of technology and equipment.

Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.

Strong remote management and follow-up methodology

Ability to travel, air, train, car, within the United States on a regular basis.

Experience uncovering trends and discovering root cause impacts of potential operational issues.
