Title: Hospital Technician (Installation Technician)

Location: Winston Salem

Type: 3-month contract

Pay: $21/hr

Shift: 6:30-3pm (Mon-Fri) Schedule has varied from 6:30am to 9am start time.MUST be open to a flex schedule.

Immunizations: Tuberculosis, Hepatitis B, Tdap, MMR, Varicella, Influenza

Background Check: Social Security, 7-year criminal history, 10 panel drug test, education and 7-year employment verification

Day-to-Day

The RTLS (Real-Time Location Services) Installation Technician works as a part of the RTLS Installation Team on projects where they install the RTLS system for existing clients, under the supervision and direction of leadership. Duties include but are not limited to tagging medical equipment with an RTLS tag (sticker) and ensuring the RTLS tag is matched up with the device ID as listed in our CMMS system.

RTLS Installation Project Team:

  • Attend all identified RTLS installation trips as part of the project team.
  • Follow company process for tagging medical equipment with RTLS tag at existing customer sites, and, performing corresponding matching process withing company CMMS system.
  • Ensure attention to detail when tagging devices and matching identifiers in company systems.
  • Ensure understanding of in-scope devices to be tagged.
  • Communicate process improvement ideas and flag identified risks to designated leader in charge

Must-haves

  • Familiarity with Android and iOS operating systems.
  • Basic computer skills required, including Microsoft Excel.
  • Effective communication skills working in a hospital environment (where you will come in contact with hospital staff, patients and guests while performing work).
  • Time Management - Uses time effectively and efficiently; sets priorities.
  • Functional/Technical Skills Ability to learn functional and technical skills to do the job and deliver strong performance.
  • Ability to work both solo and in a collaborative team format.
  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • While driving is not required for this role, work will be performed at a variety of sites. A key qualification is the ability to have a means of transportation to get to/from sites on a daily basis

Plusses

  • Experience working in a hospital environment is preferred
  • Some education in a technical/electronics field or equivalent military training
