What you'll do:Thejob of the installer exists to preparethe chassis for truck body installation; install required units in truck bodiesas part of manufacturing of truck bed fabrication; additionally, may assist inother miscellaneous duties/related work as required.
- Prepares the chassis for truck body installation.
- Install the body onto the chassis.
- Install the bumpers onto the chassis.
- Install all wiring and electrical units in the chassis.
- Install accessories of aftermarket products
- Verifies specifications by measuring completed component.
- Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Makes safety a priority
What you need to be successful:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED
- Prior Experience: Electric and Welding Experience preferred, manufacturing experience required.
- Preferred: General knowledge of auto mechanic knowledge
- Language Skills: Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required
