Our client has Installer and Service Field Service roles they are looking to hire for. In these roles you will be responsible for installing, programming, system start-up/check-out, certification, and related customer training on assigned Fire, Security, and/or Building Automation projects that include small to large projects that vary in complexity.The candidate will also deliver assigned projects effectively and within budgeted cost and time schedules acting as the key interface for technical support with the customer and maximizes customer satisfaction.These are two similar, yet slightly different roles.As a Service Specialist or Technician, you will provide technical support and training for the customer and maximize customer satisfaction. If you are hired as an Installer you will work closely with customers and internal colleagues in providing installation support and initial training. The key things they are looking for in either role is strong low voltage electronic system troubleshooting and repair experience to go along with Networking experience as you integrate systems. If you have these skills, they will train you on their systems but make sure you let them know if you have alarm or security system experience. You must hit the ground as a self-starting problem solver with excellent communication skills to provide top of the line customer service.Some other skill sets you will need are:- Be able to read basic blueprints, schematics, manuals, and other specifications to determine installation procedures- Interpret manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams, and repairs equipment, utilizing knowledge of electronics and using standard test instruments and hand tools- Operate systems to demonstrate equipment, commission new systems, analyze performance and identify malfunctionsThere is little overnight travel for this position, except for training purposes or if assistance in another area is needed.They have started a Grow Your Own Veteran Program where they will be hiring Veterans for positions in several locations across the country and bring them all into Atlanta for a two week on boarding and training program that will start on 10/5/20. (You may be able to start sooner than this at your designated location and they will get you to Atlanta for this date). You must be able to start by 10/5/20 though.$25 - $30/hr Depending on experience. Full comprehensive benefits (ask for more details!)
