Training & Development:

Client Service Representatives undergo training to learn about the product, contract provisions, and transaction processing. Coaching and feedback is provided to help you gain the necessary skills to be successful.

The Representative is responsible for client service and administration of group annuity contracts that fund pension plan obligations.

What you'll do:

  • Process annuity requests: Handle Group Annuity contracts with precision and in accordance with contractual provisions.
  • Customer interactions: Manage inbound and outbound calls, addressing inquiries from both institutional and individual annuitants.
  • Provide accurate information: Offer up-to-date data on pricing, interest calculations, account balances, audit inquiries, and tax filings to our Institutional clients.
  • Customer relationship management: Establish and maintain high-quality relationships with internal and external customers, assessing and responding to their needs effectively.
  • Operational and policy understanding: Develop a thorough understanding of operational procedures as well as company, industry, and regulatory policies to communicate effectively with clients.
  • Knowledge maintenance: Learn and retain a strong working knowledge of multiple applications, products, and services.
  • Support services: Provide invaluable support to the Stable Value Service group, such as validating scheduled and unscheduled distributions and handling required callback verifications on applicable wires.

What you need for the job:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent business experience.
  • General knowledge of Group Annuity Contracts and/or Stable Value Contracts is a plus.
  • Understanding of Pension Plans (Defined Benefit/Contribution) is advantageous.
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and multi-tasking skills are essential to manage a diverse workload effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Result-oriented mindset and a team player.

This position offers a hybrid work schedule with remote working Mondays/Fridays and on-site collaboration in our Jersey City office Tuesdays/Wednesdays/Thursdays.

Pay Transparency

Salary Range: $32,500-$57,500

Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes

Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual's experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
