Institutional Fixed Income Sales - Lucid Capital Markets LLC - Investment Banking : Job Details

Lucid Capital Markets a full-service investment bank is seeking an institutional fixed income salesperson to its growing team. The position will partner with Lucid's FIG group to execute a deep existing pipeline of both public and private fixed income transactions.

Qualifications

• MUST have existing relationships with buy side accounts focusing on investment grade fixed income market
• Work closely with Investment Banking and Capital Markets to execute new issue fixed income transactions
• Track record of successfully placing new issue corporate debt including 144A, 4(a)(2), and public offerings
• Experience working with corporate finance bankers on new issue transactions
• Solid understanding of broader debt capital markets
• Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, with ability to communicate with all levels of employees, management, internal committees and clients
• Relevant FINRA licenses required, or will need to be secured within 120 days of employment
• Recent Grads and entry level candidates will not be considered

Responsibilities

• Responsible for developing and maintaining profitable distribution of fixed income product
• Open sales relationships to facilitate the growth of debt capital markets business
• Assist in implementing necessary systems to support a corporate fixed income sales and trading business
• Collaborate with trading to establish trading accounts and street relationships
• Develop and maintain customer relationships through prospecting and account maintenance activities
• Maintain currency on new products and industry trends
• Develop understanding of back-office operations that support sales effort, and establish working relationship with back-office personnel
• Knowledge and understanding of TRACE reporting requirements to ensure the firm remains compliant with related FINRA rules.
• Provide market feedback to fixed income traders and investment banking department
