As an Instock Program Manager within Amazon Fresh Grocery, you'll take on a critical role at the forefront of developing business plans and overseeing supply chain and inventory management. Leading cross-functional initiatives will be second nature as you drive improvements to enhance customer experience and overall cost structures. Your leadership will extend across both Online and In-Store channels.
To be successful in this role, you should be comfortable using data to influence others and building scalable systems and processes to allow our business to grow. Strong candidates will have knowledge in fundamental business principles and previous retail, grocery, or supply chain experience. The ideal candidate is able to lead and influence both internal and external teams in an ambiguous environment while maintaining a customer-centric philosophy.
Key job responsibilities
A successful Instock Program Manager will:
1. Manage Must-have selection and inventory availability
2. Analyze internal and external data to identify opportunity areas for must-have selection.
3. Collaborate with the category team to optimize the must-have assortment and deliver high availability.
4. Adjust buying plans and allocation strategies to improve in-stock positions.
5. Work closely with the technology team to run pilots and scale learnings.
6. Develop and implement processes to proactively maintain optimal in-stock levels for must-have and fast-moving items.
7. Develop reporting to monitor selection performance

Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of with Excel experience
- 4+ years of supply chain, inventory management or project management experience
- Bachelor's degree, or 3+ years of professional or military experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of the principles of statistical inventory control
- Experience with process improvement techniques such as Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $141,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
