Job Summary:

• Implement strategies to meet the needs of students with a variety of learning needs.
• Assist students with special education needs within the building / Special Education Program.
• Assist with implementation of assistive technology to promote independence.
• Communicate with case managers and classroom teachers in fulfilling the students' Individual Education Plans.
• Document assistance and accommodations provided to each student.
• May need to assist students with personal care needs - including toileting and feeding.
