The main purpose of this position is to support the academic and administrative work of the School of Divinity (SOD) - Available to assist when SOD leadership requests any support.Essential Functions and Responsibilities1. Provide administrative support to Administrative Leadership.2. Work with the Chair of each department related to faculty hierarchy and faculty hiring.3. Work with the Chair of each department related to course development and evaluation.4. Work as a liaison to Academic Advising.5. Assist with department events.6. Assist with faculty/staff training and development.7. Coordinate team-building events for the School of Divinity.8. Arrange meetings, travel, and program events and reconcile program expenses.9. Assist budget managers with budget planning and departmental/school purchases.10. Coordinate space and classroom utilization for the School of Divinity.11. Assist with the implementation of university and school short- and long-term planning.12. Other duties as assigned.Qualifications, Credentials, and CompetenciesA master's degree in a related field is preferred, 5 years of administrative experience, institutional knowledge of Liberty, and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications. Must have experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, as well as a strong ability to work with and learn a variety of computer systems. Effective communication both verbally and in writing. Ability to intuitively reason, analyze information and events, and apply judgment in order to solve problems of both a routine and complex nature. Excellent computer and organizational skills. Regularly lift 10 or fewer pounds.
