We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Instructional Designer to develop engaging, interactive training materials that support the needs of our organization. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Canva, Articulate, Camtasia, Adobe products, and Learning Management Systems (LMS). The Instructional Designer will collaborate closely with the Director of Learning and Development and Subject Matter Experts to gather insights and create impactful learning content, delivered via SCORM-compliant files and various media to maximize engagement and effectiveness. Additionally, this role will provide key support to the Director of Learning and Development in designing onboarding journeys for new hires across different teams.

Responsibilities:

· Support Director of L&D to Design and Development of Training Materials: Create visually compelling and effective training materials using Canva, Articulate (e.g., Storyline, Rise), Adobe Creative Suite, and other design tools to support learning objectives.

· LMS Administration: Upload and manage content on the LMS, ensuring it is accessible, up-to-date, and easy to navigate for learners.

· Engagement and Interactivity: Assist Director of L&D to design and implement engaging and interactive learning experiences, including quizzes, simulations, and multimedia elements to enhance learner retention. Build SCORM-compliant files and ensure smooth integration with Learning Management Systems (LMS) while following EōS Brand Policies.

· Onboarding Journey Support: Assist the Director of Learning and Development in structuring and customizing onboarding journeys tailored to specific roles

· Quality Assurance: Conduct testing and reviews to ensure all materials meet quality standards and perform well on various devices and platforms.

· Project Management: Manage multiple instructional design projects from concept to completion, adhering to timelines and budgets.

· Provide storyboards to Director of L&D prior to course creation.

· Manage the email support and education requests and communicate with the Director of L&D.

· Maintain project documentation/governance documents for courses

· Continuous Improvement: Gather feedback from learners and SMEs, analyzing data to improve the effectiveness of training programs.

· Assist with reporting and analytics

Preferred Qualifications:

· Certifications in instructional design, eLearning, or related fields.

· Familiarity with additional authoring tools, like Captivate or Camtasia.

· Experience with data analysis to improve training outcomes.

· Familiarity with smartsheet

Requirements:

· Minimum of 3 years' experience as an Instructional Designer

· Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Graphic Design, or related field.

· Proven experience in instructional design, particularly with Canva, Articulate, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.), and Learning Management Systems.

· Strong understanding of SCORM standards and eLearning best practices.

· Experience working with SMEs to translate complex information into clear, engaging training content.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

· High attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality work.

· Must successfully pass background check.

· CPR certification required within 30 days of hire.

· Ability to work in a gym setting; move about club floors and rooms; communicate with employees, members, and the public

· Ability to bend routinely and repetitively to lift more than 40 lbs.

· Ability to access and operate Company computer system including prepare documents, enter data into computer system, read reports from a computer data base or email system
