INSTRUCTIONAL INTERVENTIONIST - Rowan-Salisbury School System : Job Details

Purpose: To supplement reading, math and science instruction for students who are close to grade level proficiency and to provide enrichment for students to support academic growth.Qualifications: Ability to relate to children and to provide instructional activities in collaboration with teacher.College degree requiredKey Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide supplemental instruction to students close to proficiency or right at proficiency.

Provide enrichment of reading, math or science skills.

• Collaborate with classroom teacher to prepare lessons, materials, and activities that supplements classroom reading, math or science instruction for students close to or just at proficiency with grade level standards. •Adhere to the federal guidelines regarding non-instructional assignments/duties.
